Monday - Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

The EOPS Office will be open for special extended hours during the first part of the spring semester. Between January 8 and February 2, 2018, EOPS will open during the following extended hours:

Monday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

EOPS information

EOPS NOW ACCEPTING SPRING 2018 NEW STUDENT APPLICATIONS

EOPS has a limited number of slots for new applicants for the SPRING 2018 semester. Click on Spring 2018 EOPS application to download the form. The application is also available in the EOPS Office on the Pleasant Hill Campus and at the San Ramon Campus Information Desk in the West Lobby. The application period will close on Friday, February 9, 2017 or until we reach program capacity, whichever comes first. Due to high demand and limited space, depending on the volume of applications received, the application period may close early. Applications must be submitted in person either to the EOPS Office located in the Student Services Center (1st floor - room 127) or to the San Ramon Campus Admissions and Records Office.

EOPS Assistant Spring 2018 Drop-In Hours

During the first four weeks of the semester, EOPS Assistants will be working hard to process EOPS student status as quickly as possible and will have limited availability to meet with students. Students wishing to speak to their EOPS Assistant in person about their EOPS file or application are invited to come during the EOPS Assistant Drop-in Hours during the following weeks (Monday, January 22 - Thursday, February 15, 2018):

Monday, Tuesday, and Friday - 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.Wednesday and Thursday - 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

CARE Assistant Drop-In Hours

If you are a CARE student, there are currently no designated drop-in hours. Stop by the office to speak to a staff member or schedule an appointment to meet with the Program Manager.

SPRING 2018 PROGRESS REPORT DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, APRIL 6, 2018

For Spring 2018 all EOPS students must submit their required EOPS Progress Reports by Friday, April 6, 2018 in order to receive credit for this program requirement. For more information, please review our Progress Reports Frequently Asked Questions Sheet

New requirements established to receive a priority registration date

As of Fall 2014, in order for students, including EOPS students, to receive a Priority Registration date, the following must be completed:

1. Complete the DVC Online Orientation
2. Take the Math and English assessments
3. Create an Education Plan

Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS)

Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is committed to meeting the unique educational needs of students hindered by language, social, and economic disadvantages. Eligible students may receive a wide variety of services including, but not limited to, individualized counseling, peer support, book vouchers, and academic and transfer assistance.

Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE)

Single parent students with dependent children under the age of 14 receiving CalWORKs, county cash aid, may also qualify for the CARE program. CARE provides additional support services such as study-time child care grants, supply vouchers, daily meal on campus, and specialized workshops and events.
